The Sunday Post: March 11

March 12, 2017     Michelle     Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life Updates:

It’s been another slow week — not a ton has been going on, and we’ve had some pretty nice chill/hang-out time. I DID figure out how to deal with a problem in the book I’ve been working on, so that was exciting!

I DID box up all of my daughter’s 6-month clothes because she is well and truly into the 9 month outfits (and already too big for some of the ones that shrunk in the wash!). She has gotten REALLY into climbing things, and she climbed up on top of the box

Goal Tracking:

Average Steps per Day: 5,090 (Right in line with my daily goal!)

This Week I Enjoyed:

  • Yay for being able to resolve your book problem, this is an awesome feeling to have. And congratulations on the blogging challenge, finding so many new blogs (especially having the time to do so) can be hard at times. Thank you so much for sharing my post, and have a wonderful week! <3

It hasn’t been as difficult to keep track of as I expected! Of course, it IS also still pretty early yet 😉

  • Glad you were able to figure out your problem with your book. I have a friend who is a writer and he struggles with it sometimes too. I’ve also been trying to comment more on new blogs. It’s a great way to find more fun blogs and even grow your own blog. I remember when my daughter was in that age group (she’s 4 years old now) and I felt like I was constantly juggling around her clothes in her closet. They grow so fast in that stage. My daughter still grows like a weed but at least she fits in the same clothes for longer than a couple months now. haha!!

Hope you have a great week!

The clothes thing is a CONSTANT right now. Not only are we shuffling through “old” clothes so fast it’s hard to keep track of, but family members keep buying us older sizes (for which I’m HUGELY grateful), and it can be tough to keep track of when to pull clothes out from where. I’m going to have a heck of a time going through all the 12 and 18 months clothes because right now they’re just all crammed together in random spots that I could manage to find space. I’m putting that off for as long as possible 😛

  • The picture of your daughter is cute! I can’t imagine how often you would have to swap out clothes. Babies seem to grow so fast! Hope you have a great week!

    • Michelle

It’s been insane! We actually were in size 6 month for a halfway decent amount of time — about 4 months or so! But it seems like she’s going to grow straight through the 9 months clothes in no time flat!

  • I’m glad you managed to figure out the problem with your book! I love those moments when you’ve been struggling with something for a while and then you finally manage to work it all out 🙂
Thanks for mentioning my post! 🙂

    • Michelle

It was such a relief! I was beginning to be afraid this hole would forever be there! And no problem! 😀

  • Christina T

Great job with your fitness goals and glad you were able to fix the issue with your book.

I need to finish my Spring TBR post but I am very excited about A Court of Wings and Ruin too.

Hope you have a great week!

I am SOOOOO excited for ACOWAR. Been looking forward to it all year 😀 I’m debating about trying to reread ACOTAR and ACOMAF first, but … well, we’ll see how that goes :p

  • Yay, glad you figured out a problem in your book! That’s always a good feeling. And your daughter is so cute. She’ll probably get into all sorts of trouble now that she’s into climbing, haha. Great photo!

    • Michelle

It was such a relief! And yes, she’s getting into EVERYTHING. She IS getting the hang of figuring out what kinds of things are too tall for her to climb, so that’s good at least. I’m just waiting for her to realize that she can pull out drawers and climb up the dresser … because I can TOTALLY see her doing that in the near future!

  • Congrats on figuring out the problem in your book. Even though you didn’t add any words, you did work on it. I didn’t do much for mine this week besides talk to my daughter about the characters.
Also congrats on your commenting goal progress!

    • Michelle

Thanks! I was definitely super proud of the progress I made 🙂 Sometimes it’s not all about word count! 😉

  • Greg Hill

Chill/ relax time is great, and glad you were able to make progress on your book issue. That’s always a good feeling. Hope it keeps working out for you- it’s always nice to get past a problem area!

    • Michelle

It’s definitely a relief! And the down time has been awesome! 😀

  • Awww, they grow so fast. But it’s fun watching how much progress they make in such a short time. Have a great week and happy reading!

    • Michelle

I can’t believe how much she’s grown already! You have a great week too!
