The Sunday Post: March 19

March 19, 2017     Michelle     Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life Updates:

It’s been another slow week — not a ton has been going on, and we’ve had some pretty nice chill/hang-out time. I’ve been almost solely focused on getting ready for Camp NaNoWriMo in my spare time. Which is fleeting. I think I’m driving my husband nuts because in the evenings we have together, I’ve been hiding away in my office instead of hanging out with him. He’s got another month and a half of this behavior, I’m afraid. Ha; he’ll live. 😛

My daughter is SUPER focused on real food lately. We canNOT eat a meal without her fussing about getting our food into her hands/mouth/floor. Enjoy this picture from Subway 😛

Goal Tracking:

Average Steps per Day: 4,115 (lower than I’d like, but I expected worse to be honest!)

Workouts: Nada — oops!

Non-Blog Writing:

This week: 0 words — I’ve been working on outlining instead — And making GREAT progress there!

This Week I Enjoyed:

  • Your daughter is adorable! I hope that you will have more spare time this week.

    • Michelle

      Thanks! That’s the goal 🙂

  • Oh yes, I’m sure that your husband will survive because PRIORITIES. Anyhoo, I love that picture of your kid at Subway! I just started laughing the moment I saw it. Have a good week, and happy reading! 🙂

    • Michelle

Yes, priorities! And isn’t she just hilarious! I don’t know WHAT she was doing with that tongue of hers, but she was most definitely trying to get up to trouble!

  • stormi34

That pic is really cute. Good luck with getting ready for Camp NaNoWriMo. I am curious about your Jackaby review as it sounds like you were not a huge fan and I loved it. 🙂

    Have a great week,
    Stormi

    • Michelle

Thanks! I liked Jackaby well enough; I just wasn’t really WOWed by it or anything. And I think that was as much a case of timing as anything else 🙂

  • Oh that picture of your daughter is too cute!!! Hopefully your husband will survive your camp nanowrimo!

    • Michelle

Thank you! I’m sure he will pull through 😛

  • Your daughter is so cute! 🙂

I think it’s really neat you have a goal for commenting on blogs. That’s something I need to get better at doing.

    • Michelle

It’s made a HUGE difference in how much time I spend blog hopping, and it’s really forcing me to be DELIBERATE about it instead of just winging it. So far I’ve really enjoyed it!

  • What a cute baby you have! I remember those days so well. Now my kids are teens and beyond, but still wanting to eat everything in sight! Congratulations on your writing project. I am excited for you.

    • Michelle

Thanks! And haha, I guess we never stop exploring the world through our mouths, lol!

  • literaryfeline

What a great photo! Your daughter is adorable. Gosh, I remember those days. Mine still gets food everywhere and she’s six now. Not as cute, but still cute. 🙂 Good luck with Camp NaNoWriMo. I hope you are able to find some down time this week. Have a great one!

    • Michelle

Thanks! Yes, I imagine we’ll be cleaning up food messes for a LONG time! You have a good week too!

  • I have to check out Camp NaNoWriMo. I did NaNo in November, but I haven’t written since! I’m much better with a solid goal. Hmmm …

    • Michelle

I wrote a little bit in January, but yeah, I definitely need the more tangible goals and SOME semblance of community. I’m really hoping to get a lot written in April!

  • awww heh your daughter is adorable XD slow weeks can be okay, it’s nice to take a somewhat of an unintentional break

    • Michelle

Thanks! And yes, having the extra time has been awesome! 🙂

  • Greg Hill

Good luck with Camp NaNo! And ha cute pic at Subway… 🙂

    • Michelle

      Thanks! 🙂

  • Eeeek…I don’t know if I am emotionally ready for Camp NaNoWriMo….!!!

    • Michelle

I’m actually really excited for it! I just hope that I’m STILL excited for it by the end of the first week! 😉
