Writing & Yardwork & Not a lot of Blogging [The Sunday Post]

April 16, 2017     Michelle     Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life Updates:

Things have been busy with the weather finally getting nicer. We’ve done a TON of yardwork. I think we’re trying to make up for the fact that we didn’t do terribly much last year after my daughter was born by playing catch-up in the spring this year. I’ve even been able to help! (Since, you know, I’m not pregnant or recently post-partum). So far, I’m incredibly happy with all of our decisions this year 🙂

My daughter has been “helping” a lot. She REALLY likes dirt. And rocks.

Words have been hitting the page too. With all my focus on Camp NaNo, I haven’t spent much time on the blog. So sorry if it takes me a while to respond to comments!

Goal Tracking:

This Week I Enjoyed:

I am SO far behind blog-hopping. I will be doing a LOT of catch-up over the next couple of weeks. Or early May. May sounds good.

  • New visitor here! My hat is off to you with the writing. One of these days, I will stop procrastinating and start writing… Now to check out a couple of your previous posts!

    • Michelle

Thanks so much! And welcome 🙂 Procrastinating on the writing thing is SUPER easy, especially with blogging as an excuse, ha! I look forward to seeing you around 🙂

  • Congrats on all of those goals 🙂 if only I could boast the steps :D…

    • Michelle

Thanks! The steps are SO hit or miss for me. It takes a LOT of dedication during the day to remind myself to get them in.

  • Greg Hill

Yeah it’s finally gotten nice here too. About time. 🙂 And looks like you have a good little helper with the yardwork!

Congrats on the writing! And prologues- great idea for a post. I usually like a good prologue but I know not everyone does. Can’t wait to read your thoughts.

    • Michelle

Yay for nicer weather! Yes, she was VERY “helpful” — if nothing else, she kept us all thoroughly entertained! 😉

It’s funny how controversial the idea of a prologue can be >.< I did a pro/con list, because I don't even know how I feel about them myself most of the time!
